Corrugated panels use exposed fasteners and a wave-pattern profile — faster to install and more cost-effective, making them popular for agricultural, residential, and light commercial applications.

How long do metal roof panels last?



Metal roofing panels typically last 40 to 70 years depending on the profile, gauge, and coating. Varcen's panels are finished with Sherwin Williams Weather XL and backed by a 50-year warranty — significantly longer than the 15 to 20 year lifespan of standard asphalt shingles.

What gauges does Varcen carry?



We carry 26 gauge as our standard offering, with 24 gauge Kynar available for premium applications. Contact your nearest location to confirm availability for your specific project.

Can metal panels be used for siding?



Yes — corrugated and flat metal panels are widely used for siding on residential, agricultural, and commercial structures. Our metal siding panels are available in the same profiles and colors as our roofing panels for a consistent finished look.

Can a metal roof be painted?

Yes, a metal roof can be painted. But most of the metal roofs are pre-painted or come with a coating that protect it from rust and corrosion.

Does Varcen offer wholesale pricing?

What is an R Panel and when should I use it?



R panel is a structural exposed fastener metal roofing profile with a high rib design. It is widely used in commercial, agricultural, and industrial construction because of its strength and fast installation. It can be used for both roofing and siding applications.

Does Varcen install metal roofing?


